Veza Lawn Care

Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Weekly Mowing

Same morning, every week — front, back, side yards, edged borders, and the walk and drive blown clean before I roll out.

Weekly or every-other-week mowing across Irving, Las Colinas, and Coppell. Sharp blades, mulch-cut by default, bagging if you ask. Cut height changes with the season so St. Augustine and Bermuda hold moisture through August and never get scalped in spring. Edges every visit. Walks, drive, and patio blown clean before the truck moves.

  • Edging & Trimming

Power-edged borders along beds, walks, and driveway — and string-trimmed clean around fences, posts, and trees.

A clean, deliberate edge around every concrete border, plus careful string-trim work around mailboxes, A/C units, and the spots a mower deck cannot reach. Final pass with the blower so nothing carries onto the patio or into the street.

  • Bed Maintenance

Pull weeds by hand, prune at the right time of year, and keep the front beds looking like someone tends them.

Hand-pulled weeds (no spray near edibles unless you want it), seasonal pruning timed to each plant rather than the calendar, and a fresh mulch top-up in spring and fall. Crape myrtles get cut back in February — not "crape-murdered."

  • Spring & Fall Cleanups

The big two — leaves, sticks, dead growth out; mulch, edges, and beds reset for the next season.

Full-property reset twice a year. Spring: cut back perennials, pull winter debris, edge beds, refresh mulch. Fall: bag leaves, clear beds and gutters from the ground, cut back what wants cutting, prep the lawn for dormancy. Most Irving yards run $95-$220 depending on lot size.

  • Sprinkler Tune-Ups

Spring start-up, summer adjustments, fall blow-out — and I’ll fix that one head you keep meaning to call about.

Seasonal start-up and shutdown, head replacements, broken-line repair, controller programming, and a walk-through with you so every zone is hitting what it should. Important during a North Texas summer when watering days are restricted.

  • Mulch Installation

Hardwood, cedar, or dyed black — installed at the right depth so the beds look fresh and the weeds give up.

Bulk-delivered mulch (or bagged, your call), hand-spread to a consistent 2-3 inches around plants and trees with a clean edge against the lawn. I pull last year’s clumped mulch first if it needs it.

  • Hedge & Shrub Trim

Boxwoods, hollies, and red-tip photinias trimmed to a clean line — with the clippings hauled out, not left at the curb.

Hand and power-trimmed shrubs at the right time of year for the species. I haul clippings off-site rather than bagging them on your driveway for the truck to maybe come grab next Tuesday.

  • Sod Installation

Bermuda, zoysia, or St. Augustine — graded, laid tight, rolled, and a watering schedule you can actually follow.

Soil prep, light grading, fresh sod laid in a brick pattern with tight seams, rolled in, and a printed watering schedule for the first three weeks. I come back at week two to check root contact. Most Irving yards do well in St. Augustine on the shaded side and Bermuda in the sun.

Starts at $750 · per visit

Most weekly customers add cleanups, mulch, and the odd hardscape job — there’s usually a flat-rate way to handle that.
